Welcome to Katsujin Budokai. The Katsujin Budokai dojo is the official branch head of the state of Texas for the Komei Jyuku and Yamauchi-Ha Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu Iaijutsu under Sekiguchi Komei Sensei.

March 2009 Tokai

The Texas Komei Jyuku will be hosting a tokai with Sekiguchi Sensei and Shimizu Sensei. We will be covering Muso Jikiden Eishin-ryu Iaijutsu and Ryouen-ryu Naginatajutsu waza, bunkai, and henka. The dates are March 17th - March 28th. The full break down of training days are listed below. The fee is $300 USD for all days of training or $50 dollars a day for individual days of training.

• March 20th, 21st, 22nd - New Mexico Komei Jyuku, Albuquerque, TX
• March 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th - Texas Komei Jyuku, Lubbock, TX

New / First time students

First time students and anyone not familiar with the Yamauchi Ha Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaijutsu or Ryouen Ryu Naginatajutsu are welcome to attend the free two hour introduction classes taught by US Komei Jyuku branch head Walt Bushey sensei. This pre-training class is designed to familiarize new students to our style with the basics of how and why we do things and answer any questions regarding fundamentals prior to training with Sekiguchi Soke and Shimizu sensei to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience in Komei Jyuku Koryu Budo.
